  • An Australian professional cleaning company took to Tik Tok and Instagram to share their five “non-negotiable daily cleaning tasks”.

Professional cleaner, Kacie Stephens, has so much stuff in her rubber gloves; from keeping the vacuum cleaners themselves clean to making rust stains disappear in a flash. It’s safe to say that this lady knows all about quick and efficient household chores.

Kacie, owner The great clean society. in Melbourne, knows how to clean a house from top to bottom. His company cleans more than twenty (pre-lockdown) homes a day, five days a week!

Luckily for us, Kacie is also a social media savvy and has amassed a global following of around 5,000 Tik Tok followers and 53,000 Instagram fans by posting hard-hitting reels and posts that really work.

Kacie recently shared a online video via @thebigcleanco which begins with “I’m a professional cleaner and here are my 5 non-negotiable daily cleaning tasks”. If you are looking to save time on household chores, this is the task you should not skimp on.

    5 non-negotiable daily cleaning tasks

With these jobs done and dusted every day, other household chores should be easier to master.

    1. “Make your bed”

Many people agree with this mantra. It is believed that a freshly made bed puts you on the right track every day. Former Navy Seal William H. McRaven wrote an entire book called “MAKE YOUR BED” about the mental health benefits of this ritual. It’s a #1 New York Times bestseller!

    2. “Vacuum or quickly mop high traffic areas”

Vacuuming is the most efficient way to keep your carpet clean and with so many lightweight, cordless versions on the market, it couldn’t be easier to get it going on a daily basis. Especially if you have a large family and pets.

The same goes for cleaning hard floors: spray mops, flat mops or a good old mop and bucket. There are so many choices for making laminates, wood or tiles clean and dirt free. Or upgrade your swab with the best steam cleaner for the ultimate in bacteria removal.

    3. “Take clothes off the floor, even if it’s just to throw them in a basket”

This task is vital; clothes left all over the floor, in our opinion, are hiding in “slob territory”. Make it easier for everyone in the family by providing each person with their own laundry basket to keep floors clutter-free.

    4. “Never take today’s dishes into tomorrow”

We love this expression. It makes perfect sense – no one wants to wake up to a full kitchen sink every morning.

    5. “Clean your countertop after every meal”

It is a basic hygiene practice. It’s nearly impossible not to leave food residue or crumbs behind when you’re preparing a meal, so cleaning kitchen countertops when cleaning will definitely keep bacteria away. Try using one of the best cleaning products like Method Multi-Purpose Cleaner available on Amazon to get the job done quickly.

Kacie is so savvy about cleaning that she also sells her own “one for all” concentrated detergent that is pH neutral and sold in 100% bottles. FOR ALL Australia is available for purchase in Australia.

We hope the cleaner will soon be available worldwide – we’d love to try it out!
